Jack Vs. Jason

Let's see if my comment on Jack's blog where he claims to be offering the best bonus for buying John Reese's upgrade of Traffic Secrets, which seems to be selling like totally hot pancakes with creamy French butter slathered all over them to be scarfed down by starving, laid-off oil field workers getting their first decent American meal in I don't know how long. I am certainly getting more "offers" flooding my inbox than ever before to get in on this NOW and pick up my groovy bonus as an incentive to pay up both nostrils for something I may never even use, regardless of how wonderful it is.

Here is what I posted:

------------------------------------------------

The offer I got from Jason Mangrum is pretty decent — he’ll buy TS2.0 for me — if I join My Internet Business at the Silver, Gold or Platinum level — but since I am already joined up in it under him, I might give Mr. Reese’s upgrade a pass this time around. In fact, I think I’ll just continue to stick with what’s offered in Authority Black Book (especially now that Version 2.0 is out [and safely ensconced within the depths of my hard drive]) along with the socnet-oriented material J comes up with. But Jason tends to do things differently. I mean, getpaidbygod.com? That is just too cool. As is Authority Black Book.

------------------------------------------------

The title of the blogpage dated July 15th (today) I am referring to is ---

Who Has The Best Bonus Package for Traffic Secrets?

--- and in this posting Jack Humphrey sez, in response to his own question ---

"Well, I think I do. I’m not offering a bonus at all."

And then Jack goes on to explain his thinking on this subject, and while I tend to agree with him, well, Jason's anti-bonus reverse-psych invite is pretty off the beaten track that Jack speaks of. So, see what happens and if my blog comment is accepted.

Getting To Know You . . . .

If you are looking for a truly valuable source of information in regard to making money online, Jason Mangrum has just started a new weblog, Marketing Machine Tactics. You might want to head on over there to find out what he has to say about Google Base in his posting entitled "Underground Secret Method To Double Your Traffic".

And something rather cool just came my way in an email from Free Viral telling yours truly that as a Free Viral member I am eligible to be Grandfathered into another program, Market-It, but then I was thinking, hey, that sounds familiar, and lo and behold a memory worked its way up from somewhere deep in the recesses of my mental maze, I looked through some papers, and there it was, my login stats for good ole Market-It, and upon scooting on over and jumping inside I learned that I am already automatically a granddad there due to my being, as the folks at Market-It explain it, "a loyal member". It makes me feel all warm and gooey inside knowing that I am considered loyal even thought I kinda sorta forgot about even being attached to it. That's the type of loyalty I can really get used to. That said, I am now reminded of how absolutely awesome Market-It is, that is now that I am looking at its contents again.

Pray tell, one might query, how so?

Well, for example, and this is just an inkling, under the category of "How-to Videos" there are listed 43 of such entities covering the following targets: a) Website Marketing; b) Payment Processing; c) Selling on eBay; d) Webmaster Training I; and e) Webmaster Training II.

Since I haven't been inside Market-It for a few eons, I had to look around to figure out a few things once again, one of these things being an attempt to scrounge up an affiliate link to give y'all, and was I ever flabbergasted to find (Yes! Flabbergasted!!) that due to a change from CCBILL to PayPal, said affiliate link is temporarily unavailable and that the Reseller Center Main Page is closed, and thus, off-limits. Makes me wonder if I could have learned the same thing if I had watched one of the four training videos on Payment Processing, but maybe that's how the folks at Market-It found out. Hmmm.

And so, I cannot in good conscience redirect you there via a hyperlink so that you would sign up under me and give me all your money. But bear in mind that you can give me all your money anyway if you really were into that kind of thing. I wouldn't try to stop you from living out a fantasy like that if it was so important to you, that is the kind of nice guy I am. But, yeah, Market-It, I will remember you now. And ain't it cool, I found out about being a grandfather on Father's Day, and the day before yesterday being Friday the Thirteenth and all (although it escapes me whether or not some misfortune befell yours truly on Friday, but hey!, that's in the past, so why worry about it, and anyway, I got lucky today.)

Hooray, Hooray, I'm On My Way

Okay, I'm in.

It took an "angry letter" to get "immediate action". Prior to the arrival of the separate My Internet Business support ticket website, I had already sent in a request for support because, after paying my way in at $49 for the annual Associate Fee and the first time payment of the $59 monthly fee for a total of $108 (I have such superior math skills), using my Passport to Wealth username and password as instructed, I was unable to log in to my MIB account.

The first request included my confession of stupidly and accidentally paying the entire $108 twice due to a bit of confusion about the process. I was informed in the reply letter that the second payment had been refunded. That's pretty cool. But in that the "big launch" had the MIB peeps so busy, it would take a few days (72 hours I think it was) to take care of the login problem. I figured, that's all right with me, although I was fairly excited about taking a look at the back office of my MIB site.

So, after a couple of days when I still couldn't get inside, I wrote a second support ticket, this time through the new support ticket website. I had also informed Jason, my main man, P2W upline dude and fearless leader mentor in the Golden 25 Mastermind, of the login difficulty, and he wrote back informing me that there was this busy flurry of activity as a result of the aforementioned "big launch" happenstance and that it might take a week or so to get it all together. Because Jason is involved personally with the MIB process as an early founding member, back in the day when he was barred from giving to many details about MIB to G25M, writing copy and all that, I also informed the MIB support team of my relationship with him. Plus, I included my first request ticket letter and their response to that letter. This in essence was what I threw together in the second request when using the MIB support ticket website. The response? Check it out:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

David,

I am sorry, however, we are in the middle of a large launch. IF you are having a specific issue...please submit only those details. We do not have time to read through this entire email. We only need a summary, not the history. What exactly is the problem? Thanks.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm thinking, who's David? I let them know in fairly "no uncertain terms", more or less, that I had written a "friendly" letter with only the "pertinent details". And that got the job done, but only after being "miffed" in my third support ticket request. So now I'm a happy MIB camper.

And so that's what this blog is going to be about. My Internet Business. My ups, my downs, the good, the bad, and the beautiful. If it gets ugly, I'll put that here to. But basically --- Hooray, hooray, I'm on my way, my internet business starts today.
